The HTC Hero Graphite is a popular phone for its stunningly sleek looks and range of features. HTC are known for their high quality phones that quietly and effectively match all the features of other smart phones while adding new and interesting abilities. Some of the features of the HTC Hero graphite include an easily customized homepage, user interface that goes above and beyond many other smart phones and a 5MP camera. There is also built in Facebook integration which is becoming more and more important for modern smart phones. See below for some fantastic cheap HTC Hero graphite contracts.
Good Points
The HTC Hero graphite edition is the first in the HTC range to be released with HTC Sense. This is a new “skin” for the Android operating system and makes a huge difference to how easy and enjoyable the phone is to use. HTC Sense really expands on the functionality and looks of the Android system and allows it to compete with the sleek Apple mobile OS. Whether or not you prefer the looks of the HTC Hero to the iPhone is a matter of opinion although the fight is a lot closer than ever before. Also, as there are some great HTC Hero graphite contracts available from networks such as O2, Vodafone and Orange.
Some of the other features of the HTC Hero graphite include a 5 megapixel camera for taking snapshots of friends and family, internet access that includes support for flash (more on that later though), a 3.2 inch screen and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As you’d expect from HTC the screen is of a high quality and the build quality is second to none. The HTC Hero graphite also looks like a professional’s phone rather than a toy and you get much greater control over the way the phone looks and what it displays.
Bad Points
In general the HTC Hero graphite is a fantastic phone with very few bad points. There are some things you need to be aware of before buying though. First of all, the phone can become slightly sluggish at times although this isn’t a constant problem. If you want your phone to be snappy and responsive at all times then this may be an annoyance though. Also, the support for Flash is sometimes buggy and may not always work like you’d expect. This is better than no Flash support but is still something to keep in mind.
Also, the HTC Hero Graphite no longer boasts the best technology in the HTC range – that particular accolade now falls to the HTC Desire. Even so, if you want to buy a great phone that isn’t quite as expensive as the HTC Desire then this may be the perfect one for you.
