Measuring in at 57.7mm wide, 103.8mm tall, and 11.7mm thick the HTC Gratia is a relatively small mobile device which is reflected by its weight of only 115 grams including the battery. The touch screen on this phone measured diagonally is 81.2mm and displays at a 320×480 resolution with included pinch and zoom functionality, which is all protected by a scratch resistant gorilla glass. For internet connectivity, this phone utilizes 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, and/or Bluetooth hardware. Also included is support for “Tethering” which allows the user to connect other devices to the phone by USB or wirelessly to share its internet service. An internal GPS antenna allows for easy use of the built in Google Maps service and can be used to determine locations, directions, and a variety of other services provided by many applications available on the Android Marketplace.
The HTC Sense overlay is a user friendly interface developed by HTC on this device to make life easy for the user. Social Networking services such as Facebook, Friend Stream, Youtube and Flickr have all been incorporated into this device with the Sense overlay. Also, Sense provides many widgets such as news, mail, weather, calendars, footprints, and stocks all one touch away from the home screen. The HTC Gratia is available now only in European markets.
