It comes with an accelerometer, proximity sensor for automatic turn off and support for multi touch input. HTC 7 Mozart, 30 minutes to any network and 500 texts. 100MB mobile internet per month.

Tariff Name: Dolphin £10.50 (24m), Network Orange, 24 Month Contract, 30 Anytime Minutes, 500 Free Text Messages, HTC 7 Mozart, Phone Price 200, Total Cost After Discounts £452
24 Month Contract, Monthly Cost £11

With any phone, the first thing you notice is how it looks. The HTC 7 Mozart is built using a single slice of metal, and is designed to be durable. HTC always try to live by the mantra of “hidden strength” with their phones, and the Mozart certainly lives up to this. If you like your phone to be sleek, stylish and shiny then the Mozart is a good choice! The SIM card is accessible in a similar way to the HTC Legend – by sliding off the bottom element.

The camera on the HTC 7 Mozart features a hefty 8MP, and comes with a Xenon flash. This is superior to the camera found on the HTC 7 Trophy, and can record 720p video too. If you want HD video, then a phone such as the HTC Desire HD is probably a better option. HTC 7 Mozart contracts are available for cheaper than the HTC Desire HD though, and you can find some of the best ones on this site.

Inside a phone is what counts, so how does the HTC 7 Mozart phone compare to others under the hood? The handset has a 1GHz processor, as well as 576MB of RAM. It also has 8GB of storage – something that Microsoft insist upon with Windows phones. Unfortunately, you don’t get the HTC Sense UI, which many people will miss – especially if you’re used to using it on Android. There is, however, a “version” of sense including some apps in something called the HTC Hub. Things like Stocks, Weather etc are included, which is a nice bonus but nothing more.

Other features of the HTC 7 Mozart include the ability to listen to FM radio, relatively decent sound quality and a medium length battery life (compared to other smart phones with large to0uch screens). Like other smart phones, you shouldn’t expect to get anything more than a day’s worth of battery out of the Mozart with moderate usage. The HTC 7 Mozart price might put some people off, but you can find some great deals on this site by using the comparison tool.

HTC Wildfire Brown

The HTC Wildfire brown edition is a great looking phone that is seen as the little brother of the HTC Desire. Although it comes with many of the features of the more expensive Desire it has a lower quality screen that runs at a resolution of just 240×320 pixels. Even so, it’s a fantastic phone in its own right and there are some good deals available for it. The best HTC Wildfire brown deals can be seen in the listings below which are regularly updated to give you the best price.

HTC Wildfire brown, Mix of 100 minutes to any network or 100 texts. 500MB mobile internet per month.

Tariff Name: Talk 100 £9 (24m), Network 3 Mobile, 24 Month Contract, 100 Anytime Minutes, 100 Free Text Messages, HTC Wildfire brown, Phone Price 213, Total Cost After Discounts £429
24 Month Contract, Monthly Cost £9

The HTC Wildfire brown comes with a TFT screen that’s 3.2 inches in size. It is a capacitive touchscreen which means it’s much easier to use even if you have large fingers – no fingernails required! The screen can display up to 16M colors and hence is highly colorful to look at.

Other features of the display include multi touch input, an accelerometer to sense for rotation, touch sensitive control features, a proximity sensor to automatically turn off the phone when it isn’t in use and a feature which allows you to turn the phone in order to mute it. The optical track pad is a feature of newer HTC phones and is also present on the HTC Wildfire brown.HTC Wildfire Brown

The HTC Wildfire brown runs on the Android operating system which is much faster and more feature packed than Windows Mobile. The Android app store is growing in size on a daily basis and hence there are numerous ways you can expand the functionality of the phone. The UI for the phone is also very attractive and means that it’s actually enjoyable to use the phone on a regular basis. If you’re used to the Apple OS then it may take some getting used to but once you do you’ll be glad you made the switch.

The camera is of a reasonable quality and is 5MP. It can record images of a resolution 2592×1944 pixels and has an LED flash for capturing images in low light conditions. It can also detect smiles and comes with a geo tagging capability. The phone is able to record video. A great feature of the HTC Wildfire brown is that it comes with a built in FM radio making it easy to find entertainment when on a long journey.

In summary the HTC Wildfire brown is a great phone that is packed with features for a reasonable price. Although the HTC Desire has a bigger and better quality screen the HTC Wildfire is a good alternative if you don’t have the money. It comes in both black and brown versions although the choice is purely a matter of personal opinion.

HTC Wildfire Black

The HTC Wildfire black is often seen as the smaller, cheaper version of the HTC Desire. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though as the Desire is one of the best phones available but expensive. Some of the best things about the phone include the Android OS, great connectivity options and easy sync with social networking. To find the best HTC Wildfire deals make sure you check the listings below which are constantly updated on a daily basis.

HTC Wildfire black, 100 minutes to any network and 500 texts.

Tariff Name: 100 mins (24m), Network Vodafone, 24 Month Contract, 100 Anytime Minutes, 500 Free Text Messages, HTC Wildfire black, Phone Price 91, Total Cost After Discounts £331
24 Month Contract, Monthly Cost £10

Some of the best features of the HTC Wildfire black include that it has built in GPS, an address book that can merge social networking and address book contacts, built in FM Radio and support for multi touch. It’s also relatively cheap compared to other phones such as the HTC Desire even though it doesn’t look like a cheap or budget phone. In fact, it looks slim and attractive compared to many other smart phones on the market.HTC Wildfire Black

One downside of the HTC Wildfire black is that the screen has a relatively low resolution at only 240×320 pixels. This is largely only a problem when looking at websites though and isn’t too much of an issue. It does mean that the beautiful Android OS isn’t shown of in all its glory which is a bit of a shame. Even so, the phone looks great and the display is vibrant. A major bonus is the capacitive touch screen which allows for prevision control without the need for a long fingernail or stylus.

There are very few downsides to the HTC Wildfire black apart from the screen size. One other problem is that it can occasionally be unresponsive when tapped although this isn’t a problem at all times. The small problems are more than made up for by the bonus features such as app sharing and Flash Lite support. The FM radio is a nice inclusion too and vies you an extra option when travelling.

Here are some of the specifications of the HTC Wildfire black. It comes with 384 MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. There is a miniUSB port and a miniSD slot for expansion of the memory. It comes with a 5MP camera that can record video. The camera includes smile detection, geo tagging and autofocus as well as an LED flash.  The processor runs at 528MHZ and hence is fast enough for the majority of daily tasks. Other features include a digital compass and built in WiFi.

The HTC Wildfire black is a fantastic phone and is definitely an alternative to the Desire if you don’t have the money to afford the latter. It was released in May 2010 and hence is a relatively new phone but there are still some cheap HTC Wildfire black deals to be found.

HTC Touch2

The HTC Touch2 is another Windows Mobile handset from HTC. It comes with a range of features including Windows Mobile 6.5, WiFi adapter and a 2.8 inch screen. There is also a choice of using the excellent Opera browser or Internet Explorer depending on your preferences. There are a number of cheap HTC Touch2 deals available as it isn’t the most popular HTC phone – some of the best are listed in the constantly updated section below.

Out of Stock

Some of the good things about the HTC Touch2 include the wide range of features including with the OS, the inclusion of the TouchFlo UI, a great layout for the keyboard and a useful syncing service. The choice of browser is another big bonus that you don’t get with many other phones. The TouchFLO system does a good job of covering up many of the intrinsic flaws of the Windows Mobile OS and makes it an attractive phone to look at.

Some of the bad things include a resistive touch screen that is difficult to use with the fingers, a small screen and no ability for multi touch. There is also the problem of the phone being quite sluggish to use which can be annoying at times.

The HTC Touch2 used the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. This is definitely an improvement on the previous versions although certainly not as easy to use as the Android OS. The positive side is that the HTC Touch2 uses the TouchFlo UI which makes it attractive to use even if it can be slightly frustrating at times. There is no doubt that the Windows Mobile system has some serious flaws which make it difficult to use although some steps forward have been made.HTC Touch2

The specifications of the HTC Touch2 phone include a 2.8 inch screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels, HSDPA connectivity for fast downloads, Bluetooth, miniUSB and a 528MHz processor. Although it has its sluggish moments the phone certainly isn’t the slowest around. Some quicker phones that have a greater range of features include the HTC Desire and HTC Legend – both are worth looking at if you have a bit more money to spare. Other specifications include a touch sensitive bar for zoom, 3.25MP camera and an ability to record video.

Overall, the HTC Touch2 is a phone that has problems but still does a good job in general. There are probably better phones such as the HTC Desire available, however, so it’s important to take a look at the different options before making a final decision. The best HTC Touch2 contracts sometimes come with free gifts which can make the deal more attractive.
